From 1947 to today

EIGHTY YEARS, AND COUNTING.

What started in a Chungmuro print shop runs on today's automated lines in Uiwang and our R&D office in Gangnam. Eighty years of paper and ink, and a new chapter being written with digital alongside.

CHAPTER 01 · The Taeyangdang years

1947 — Ongoing

From a Chungmuro print shop to a full-service printing factory in Anyang.

  1. 1947
    • Founded Taeyangdang Printing at 161 Inhyeon-dong 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul
  2. 1957
    • Built new factory at Chungmuro 4-ga 36, Jung-gu
  3. 1972
    • Relocated factory to 433-1 Seoksu-dong, Anyang
  4. 2017
    • Crossed 50 billion KRW in revenue
    • Established set-up box division (4 machines installed) · Established lamination division
    • Built new factory (4,958㎡)

CHAPTER 02 · Green Planet Pack

2018 — Now

A new factory built around digital. New categories every year.

  1. 2018
    • Founded Green Planet Pack Co., Ltd.
    • Moved Taeyangdang Printing's set-up box division (4 machines)
    • Built print MIS system G-MES in-house
  2. 2021
    • Signed Colgate wrapping, packing, and logistics contract
    • Adopted Jinbao JB-106AS silk-screen press (full-size)
    • Cold-foil printing R&D and production
    • Adopted Fujifilm Revoria PC1120 digital press (A3)
    • Registered as cosmetics manufacturer
    • UV-base premium semi-cured gel nail sticker R&D
  3. 2022
    • Launched in-house designed gel nail sticker brand mavenir (M'AVENIR)
    • Developed smart album system and integrated with chart agencies
    • Launched musikon (MUSIKON) smart album
    • Established print division (digital print)
  4. 2023
    • Signed photocard contracts with KBO clubs
    • Premium PVC photocard R&D and production
    • Adopted Fujifilm JetPress 750HS digital press (B2)
    • Eco-friendly hologram transfer R&D and production
  5. 2024
    • Adopted JWEI digital cutter
    • Produced Modhaus OMA smart album
    • Produced C9 Entertainment keyring album
  6. 2025
    • Launched Doosan Bears collecting pack at GS25
    • Launched fandom goods service popeep
    • Supplied gel nails and photocards for KQ Entertainment Fanple Day
    • Signed photocard contracts with multiple winter sports clubs (volleyball, basketball)
  7. 2026
    • Launched in-stadium collecting pack vending machines
    • Adopting 2-color digital press (full-size)
    • Launched secure-print authentication solution genu.id
